Munich Germany at its early years in 2001.
Class
411 "Venturio" tilting ICE trains were manufactured by a conortium of
DWA, Siemens, DUEWAG and Fiat Ferroviaria, all in their strong areas.
DWA (now part of Bombardier) supplied the end coaches, DUEWAG
(now belonging to Siemens) supplied the moddle coaches, while Siemens
concentrated on the electricity and Fiat Ferroviaria (now merged to
Alstom) supplied the bogies which include the tilting mechanism.
